Dishwasher proof and microwave safe printed mugs

The PhotoMug is the only printed mug guaranteed to be dishwasher and microwave safe. These mugs are printed by a dye sublimation process which gives stunningly bright colours and no other process can provide such good quality images. In this print process the image is first printed onto a carrier paper
with special inks and then transferred under heat to the surface of the mug. The whole outer surface of the mug can be printed in full colour with the exception of the handle and the base of the mug. A machine proof is always printed for the customer’s approval prior to full production of an order of printed mugs. The Durham or Avon earthenware mugs and Windsor or Balmoral bone china mugs are the styles available for printing by dye sublimation.

Non Chip Mugs

These charcoal coloured non chip mugs are made from recycled plastic. The mugs are suitable for screen printing in up to 3 colours. Any Pantone colour can be matched. This is a tough and very durable mug, ideal for outdoor working environments.

Stainless steel and thermo mugs

As well as standard earthenware and bone china mugs we can supply stainless steel mugs, engraved or printed, and thermo mugs which can be printed in one or more colours. Quantities from 72 + and lead times 2-4 weeks.

Shimmer coat Printed Mugs

Printed Durham mugs with a metallic shimmer coating are really eye catching. Two colours blue/green or green/yellow are sprayed onto a black earthenware mug. When the mug is moved the coating changes colour and shimmers in the light. The mugs can be decorated by screen printing in 1 or more colours. It should be pointed out that these mugs are not dishwasher proof and cannot be used in the microwave.

Durham mugs can also be colour coated by choosing from a range of seven Pantone colours, Red 485, reflex blue, green 3415, orange 021, purple 297, rubine red and yellow 116 and the mugs can be decorated by screen printing. Acrylic printed mugs

Our new classic mugs and standard mugs have been a great success. They are a really good alternative to an earthenware mug for all outdoor working environments, as well as schools, catering industries and so on. Hoorah, Friday at last, how can a week seem so long but so short at the same time?
Must be something to do with a) being too busy b) being not busy enough c) having no concept of time and space. Anyway, I am not here to philosophize but to write about printed mugs. Once upon a time we had a lovely little web site called Top –Mug, now defunct, a dead URL, gone to the blueyonder or wherever through no fault of our own and so we have now to push this new site to the top of Mount Improbable or Google if you prefer.

Recycling printed mugs

My theme of the week is recycling – why? Because I have this new web site to talk about www.ecopromogifts.co.uk which has lots of really good looking recycled products but, unfortunately, nothing made from recycled printed mugs. Advice from this website http://www.manchester.gov.uk/environment/a-z/ctod.htm suggests that unbroken, unwanted and unloved printed mugs should be donated to a charity shop but broken pieces can be used for drainage layers in plant pots – gee why didn’t I think of that?
So, if a new printed mug is required for an important promotion we could have just the thing and at a very keen price too.
